Okay, I admit it – I took a couple of days off from blogging last week.  I start a new schedule this week so I’ve been hanging out with the mister and the Wondermutt, enjoying my free time.  The nice thing with my calendar for the next couple of months is that it will be a nice mix of longer days and not, so I’m going to have plenty of time on some nights for slow-cooked meals while others will require dinner in a flash (or, it will if we want to eat before 9:00).

I’m starting the new schedule right with all new dishes, no reruns — so look for those reviews and recipes!

  • Monday:  Chicken B’Stilla
  • Tuesday:  White wine and herb chicken
  • Wednesday:  Mackerel and beets
  • Thursday:  Lamb tikka with spiced carrot salad in flatbread
  • Friday:  Chicken tarragon and barley casserole
  • Saturday:  Toad in the hole with mashed potatoes and onion gravy
  • Sunday:  Spicey chicken tacos with black beans and rice
